Steve Broad, BSc. ES, CAT(C)
Senior Bracing and Orthotic Clinician
Steve Graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Exercise Science and a specialization in Athletic Therapy and received his designation as a Certified Athletic Therapist.  Steve has an interest and extensive experience in orthopaedic bracing and foot orthotics and is working towards his Pedorthics designation. As a therapist Steve also has extensive experience in working with sports injuries in both the team and clinical setting.

 

Patrick Brookes, BSc. H.K.  C.K.
Senior Bracing and Orthotic Clinician
Pat Graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1997 with a BSc.  in Human Kinetics focusing on human anatomy and biomechanics. He has over 10 years experience in orthopaedic bracing and rehabilitation. Pat has vast experience in patient consultation , consisting of extensive work with athletes at all levels of competition including the Ottawa Senators and Ottawa Renegades. Pat is a Certified Kinesiologist with the Ontario Kinesiology Association.

 

Shawn Turner, Ortho. Tech.  (Reg)
Senior Orthotic and Bracing Clinician
Shawn is a Registered Orthopedic Technologist with over 15 years of experience working both in the hospital setting and with sport medicine orthopedic bracing. Shawn will be performing consults on both custom and off the shelf bracing and foot orthotics as well as servicing our customers from the Ottawa Valley.

 

 
Chelsea Tardiff, BSc. KIN
Orthopedic Sales & Technical Consultant
 
Chelsea graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology. As a part of the Kinemedics team for 3 years, Chelsea has acquired vast experience consulting on off-the-shelf as well as custom orthopedic braces. She has worked with many athletes ranging in skill levels, from recreational to varsity. Chelsea is located at both the Ottawa-East and Ottawa-Centre retail offices. 
 
David Marchand-Smith, BSc. H.K.
Senior orthopaedic sales and technical consultant
 
Fully bilingual, Dave completed his BSc. in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa in 2008 with a focus on anatomy, biomechanics, as well as sport and occupational injuries. Dave has been a multisport athlete throughout his life, with a strong background in alpine skiing as well as several cycling disciplines. He has a keen interest in biomechanics and ergonomics, and has vastly expanded his knowledge and understanding of orthopaedic and physical therapy products. With a technical problem-solving approach, Dave performs consultations for both custom and off-the-shelf bracing at the Ottawa Centre location.
 
 
Kevin Carrington, BSc. H.K., C.Ped(C)
Orthopedic Sales & Technical Consultant
 
Kevin graduated from the University of Ottawa with a BSc., honours in Human Kinetics. He has also obtained a Diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario and currently holds the designation of Certified Pedorthist (Canada). Kevin is a certified healthcare professional with specialized education and training in care of the lower limb. He is trained in the assessment, design, manufacture, fit and modification of foot appliances and footwear for the purposes of alleviating painful or debilitating conditions of the lower limb.
 
Matt Cassidy B.Sc. H.K. (Hons.), M.Sc. OT, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Occupational Therapist
 
Matt graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Kinetics and a minor degree in Biology. In 2007 he decided to further his knowledge in rehabilitation sciences by pursuing his Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. A Registered Occupational Therapist under the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, World Federation of Occupational Therapists and the Association of Canadian Ergonomists he has a wide range of experiences including the rehabilitation of MVA patients, workplace ergonomic evaluations as well as serving on several public accessibility committees while living in London, Ontario.
 
John Reeves, B.Sc.  – Director of Technical Education and Sales – Rehabilitation and Recovery Sciences Division
With over 25 years of experience in medical equipment sales and service, John is one of Ontario’s foremost experts in Electrotherapy and Medical Device Sales . John was the founder of Mylon-Tech in the 1980's and introduced the new TENS and NMES technologies to the physiotherapy market in eastern Ontario. This market expanded dramatically over the years as other electrotherapy modalities were added including ultrasound, interferential, laser and many more. John is now the head of both Clinical and Consumer Education and Sales for KineMedics and continues to strive to bring the most innovative and effective rehabilitative solutions to both patients and therapy providers alike.

Kevin Wagner BPE (ATC), BSc.PT, CAT(C), Diploma (Sports PT)
Kevin graduated from the University of Alberta with degrees in Physical Education and Physical Therapy, majoring in Athletic Therapy and sports injury management.  Over the past 17 years Kevin has worked with a wide range of athletes at both the amateur and professional levels.  Kevin has worked as an Assistant Trainer with the Edmonton Eskimos as well as the Head Trainer with the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs.  In Calgary, Kevin continues to work with elite athletes working as an Athletic Therapist/Sports Physiotherapist with Hockey Canada, Alpine Canada and the Canadian Soccer Association.

 

Danielle Choquet BSc. KIN, CAT (C)
Danielle graduated from the University of Calgary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, completing an Athletic Therapy major through Mount Royal College. She is also a certified Athletic Therapist. Danielle has had experience with athletes from the grass-roots level up to varsity and provincial teams, including the Oval X-treme of the Western Women’s Hockey League.
