Senior Bracing and Orthotic Clinician
Steve Graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Exercise Science and a specialization in Athletic Therapy and received his designation as a Certified Athletic Therapist. Steve has an interest and extensive experience in orthopedic bracing and foot orthotics and is working towards his Pedorthics designation. As a therapist Steve also has extensive experience in working with sports injuries in both the team and clinical setting.
Steve is also located at the Cornwall clinic.
Patrick Brookes, BSc. H.K. C.K.
Senior Bracing and Orthotic Clinician
Pat Graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1997 with a BSc. in Human Kinetics focusing on human anatomy and biomechanics. He has over 10 years experience in orthopedic bracing and rehabilitation. Pat has vast experience in patient consultation , consisting of extensive work with athletes at all levels of competition including the Ottawa Senators and Ottawa Renegades. Pat is a Certified Kinesiologist with the Ontario Kinesiology Association.
Carla Brash, Dip. SIM, CAT(C)
Carla graduated with honors from Sheridan College in the Sports Injury Management Program and received her certificate as an Athletic Therapist with a continued education certificate in Soft Tissue Release. As an Athletic Therapist Carla has extensive knowledge and experience with Sports Injuries and Athletes in all levels of sport from the recreational athlete to the Olympic Athlete.

Senior Bracing and Orthotic Clinician
Erin obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education in 2000 from Queen’s University. She went on to graduate with honours from the Sports Injury Management Program at Sheridan College and has been Certified as an Athletic Therapist. Erin has extensive experience dealing with athletes at all levels of competition from recreational athletes to Varsity University and College teams. Erin has been a part of the KineMedics team since 2003.

Shawn Turner, Ortho. Tech. (Reg)
Senior Orthotic and Bracing Clinician
Shawn is a Registered Orthopedic Technologist with over 15 years of experience working both in the hopsital setting and with sport medicine orthopedic bracing. Shawn will be performing consults on both custom and off the shelf bracing and foot orthotics as well as servicing our customers from the Ottawa Valley.
Brad Elkington, BSc. H.K. C.K.
Orthotic and Bracing Clinician
Brad is a graduate with honours in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor (2004). He is recognized as a Certified Kinesiologist by the Ontario Kinesiology Association. Brad has previous work experience as rehabilitation assistant as well as gait analysis and footwear consultations. He has been part of the KineMedics team since 2005 and has been at the Kanata office since it’s opening in November 2005.

Kevin Wagner BPE (ATC), BSc.PT, CAT(C), Diploma (Sports PT)
Kevin graduated from the University of Alberta with degrees in Physical Education and Physical Therapy, majoring in Athletic Therapy and sports injury management. Over the past 17 years Kevin has worked with a wide range of athletes at both the amateur and professional levels. Kevin has worked as an Assistant Trainer with the Edmonton Eskimos, as well as the Head Trainer with the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs. In Calgary, Kevin continues to work with elite athletes working as a Athletic Therapist/Sports Physiotherapist with Hockey Canada, Alpine Canada and the Canadian Soccer Association.
Danielle Choquet B Sc. KIN, CAT (C)
Danielle graduated from the University of Calgary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, completing an Athletic Therapy major through Mount Royal College. She is also a certified Athletic Therapist. Danielle has had experience with athletes from the grass-roots level up to varsity and provincial teams, including the Oval X-treme of the Western Women’s Hockey League.
